CLN STARTED OFF SMALL AS A WATTPAD AWARD IN THE NAME CLNA ON DECEMBER 20, 2019 AND OFFICIALLY BECAME A COMMUNITY ON MARCH 1, 2020. IT ALSO BECAME THE FIRST WATTPAD COMMUNITY TO HAVE A PEER-RUN HELPLINE.HOWEVER, THERE WAS A HUGE TURNING POINT IN JULY 2020 WHERE THE LYNX, OUR PREVIOUS MASCOT GOT CHANGED, AND MANY OF THE STAFF LEFT DUE TO DISAGREEMENTS BETWEEN SOME OF THE PREVIOUS FOUNDERS.THE COMMUNITY THEN WAS REBORN WITH THE PHOENIX AND HAD A COMPLETE NEW REVAMP OF EVERYTHING THE COMMUNITY HAD AND DID.NOW, IN 2021 WE ARE STILL GOING STRONG WITH 5 FOUNDERS, 4 ADMINS, 90+ STAFF, AND A HELPLINE OF MORE THAN 700+ PEOPLE.WE ALSO OPERATE 13+ WATTPAD DEPARTMENTS AND 5+ DISCORD DEPARTMENTS. HAVING SERVICES FROM REVIEWING, EDITING, ILLUSTRATION, GRAPHIC DESIGNING TO INTERVIEWING YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS OR EVEN YOU!DON'T FORGET OUR WRITING PROGRAMS, AWARDS, BOOK CLUBS, AND READING CHALLENGES!

I also am one of the founders of CLN and I work with both the Wattpad and helpline sides. I co-head the General Helplines and also look after affiliations as a Communication subhead along with overall administrative work. I joined CLN back in early April 2020 and I got a family I never thought I would have. Its been an awesome experience full of ups and downs and I have never been more grateful for all the experience earned.

Awards hosts prepare and host Wattpad book awards or book competitions, judge at least one genre of their choice & make sure the process of the awards goes smoothly!Bookclub department

Enforcers are in charge of enforcing the rules of the CLN Helpline accordingly. They protect our server from any malicious type of behavior. They’ll delete and remove content not safe for the server. They’ll also take actions in kicking and banning people when necessary and/or if the server is raided.helpline helpers

Helpline Helpers are those who talk with people, listen to rants, and give advice to those who seek them in CLN Helpline. It is a peer-run helpline and we do not seek professionals. Anyone is welcome to apply if they feel like it!

human resources departmentHuman Resources looks after the staff side of CLN, maintains records and helps bring in members into the community.interview departmentThe Interviewing department interviews authors, graphic designers and communities on Wattpad. We organize writing events and contests where even the people in this department can participate, we often write books for the CLN community along with announcements, articles and introductions. We're always looking forward to new and creative ideas to challenge our skills!

CLN HELPLINE

The CLN helpline is a peer-run helpline with people who have experienced what you are going through.We have experience in helping people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicide, mental illness, and PTSD to name a few. We are even there if you just need someone to chat with because you are feeling a bit down or bored.We have a team of 30+ members who are available almost 24/7 for you as we believe no one should have to face any problem alone.Some of the things that we offer:
